By now you have heard me mention (many times) part of the Bijouxs mission, along with sharing my treasured culinary jewels, is to also capture the everyday beauty around us in our kitchens. Enter, Belle du jour–a little beauty of the day.
While chatting with a friend about Bijouxs, both about what I do in the kitchen and in the studio, it dawned on me (us) that everyday beauty was really a much bigger part of Bijouxs than I imagined. Once a week I share a recipe with you that I write, cook and photograph, but there are many other little jewels of simple, everyday beauty here at Bijouxs– my images from all around the kitchen and the garden and I thought it would be fun to share.
A new feature, Belle du jour, are images from the Bijouxs kitchen|studio, a little beauty of the day for you to enjoy.

It was a lucky find at an antique shop, not a full set–but I just mix it with other vintage serve ware, the more the merrier!
