The Bijouxs kitchen and studio is buzzing with creativity and here is the latest little jewel, the new website! I want to thank the very talented team at Hi Design for creating a special new home for Bijouxs.
The new website is geared to make your Bijouxs.com experience very visual and easy to use. Did you notice the new larger post image feature and the visual recipe elements at the tail end of the pages? I love the new Recipe Card feature (goody, no more entering recipes into an html page) and now it is so easy print out the recipes. As with all things new, there are some glitches and warbles in the system – hang in there – we are working on getting everything operational very soon – but for now, almost all features are a go!
To celebrate the new Bijouxs website and the Pasadena Magazine feature article, a wonderful launch party was a held a couple of weeks ago at Onesipkim Boutique. Our host and boutique owner, Kim Madolora graciously opened her beautiful boutique to Bijouxs. The party featured a vintner wine pouring by Kenneth Volk of Kenneth Volk Vineyards, Bijouxs budget bites recipes from the Pasadena Magazine November issue, and a tray of chocolates from Mignon Chocolates.
A special gift basket was raffled which featured wine from Kenneth Volk Vineyards, a Bijouxs Basics Peugeot Peppermill, olive oil from Beyond the Oil, and a pair of designer jeans from 7 for All Mankind from Onesipkim. The winner was a guest who just happened to write a food blog as well! Guests received swag bags filled with goodies and a Bijouxs bite of Susie’s Giant Oatmeal cookie.
I want to thank everyone who came out to celebrate and support Bijouxs! It was a very special evening. The event could not have happened with out the incredible Bijouxs dream team, creating the fabulous event!
What else is buzzing at Bijouxs? New website features will be coming your way some time early next year, and maybe you noticed that cute cookbook icon – another Bijouxs little jewel that is in the works.
Question: What other little jewels would you like to see at Bijouxs.com? Some have mentioned a Bijouxs by Request section, or more classic master recipes, what do you think? Send me your ideas on other little jewels from the kitchen.
The recipe newsletter is back online to be sure to sign up to receive the weekly recipe.
This is all very exciting! Thank you all for being a part of Bijouxs.com.
As always, enjoy. B
Great to share in the excitement of the Bijouxs launch! Congrats!!!
