I would not have a very smooth future in the kitchen without my favorite whisks – a little Belle du Jour.
These six whisks are my little kitchen jewels used all the time, kept in a vessel right by the stove. First (r-l), the tiny whisk handles dressings and small mixtures, the flat whisk is great in a saucepan for gravies, deglazing etc. The next two are “historic”; one for egg whites and one flat for beating, both belonging to my Grandmother. The two ballon whisks handle egg whites and sauces, adding air (per their name) lots of smooth & lightness.
