What a delightful pair- making one of the best salad dressings around. I had tried Lemon with Basil, but wow Lime just knocks it out of the park.
SALAD GREENS
A word here about salad greens. With the latest health scare (seems there’s one every day) I switched over to greenhouse grown salad greens, finding them locally from Gotham Greens. I’m willing to pay extra for freshness and safety. I also made up my own oranganic food washing liquid and wash everything.
LIME & BASIL SALAD
This crisp bowl has quickly become my new lunchtime favorite. A simple sald of the freshest greens tossed with homemade Lime Basil Vinaigrette. It’s so easy to prepare your own dressings and control the ingredients, you know what’s in it!
The salad is great made with Gotham Green’s Greenhouse Crunch lettuce, or combine your own favorite greens. So good you will consume the whole bowl of this simple salad.
