Belle du Jour {Spring Asparagus}

Organic spring asparagus, with her thin delicate stalks arrives wrapped in white crinoline, cinched at the waist, looking like a beautiful model, without even a stick of makeup.

I capture a large part of my recipe photography, just in the lovely ingredients. Here asparagus for my High Society Asparagus, caught my eye and a story emerged.

This is what I want to share with you, the everyday beauty all around us in our kitchens, along with my little jewel recipes.

Bijouxs New Newsletter is here!

It’s here! Yay! The beautiful new Bijouxs Newsletter is here, with out further ado.

A labor of love, a bit behind schedule I am, but here it is! I’m so happy to be back to getting Bijouxs  out to all of you, and hope to be cooking soon!!!

First, I want to thank Kendra ad her team, at Hi Design for the lovely, lovely rendition of my new newsletter – just perfect! The newsletter will come to you quarterly, with a featured post plus a season selection of favorite recipes for you to sample –  all the little jewels delivered to your inbox.

Second, after a long absence, and a BIG move back to my home of Los Angeles, things are starting to come together!

Belle du jour {Gingko}

Fall is in the air. While strolling a city street I captured a little everyday beauty that caught my eye, the golden yellow of Gingko leaves scattered around a tree grate. Happily, this little gem was shared via a lovely post today on Gardenista, the beautiful garden website. Thank you Kendra. Happy Fall!
