Seafood Chowder

The holiday train is on the fast track, racing us all to meetings, holiday events, shopping and also dragging behind is my broken oven that needs repair. What can I cook for holiday guests that is simple, easy and provides the warm comforts of the season without an oven?  The phone rings, a friend reminds me of Seafood Chowder, a perfect soup for a chilly night and certainly company worthy – Bijouxs without an oven.

My posts provide you with a weekly recipe, all with with luscious photographs. All recipes are easily created at home, with time-tested recipes from my recipe collection of over 30 years. I invite you to begin your cooking journey with some of my simple, weeknight wonders such as Greek Lemon Chicken, Easy Baked Rotini & Broccoli, or Quick Miso-Glazed Salmon.

No special skills are required. Anything you haven’t done is easily learned. Part of what makes these recipes Little Jewels is their simplicity. As a former Personal Chef, I bring you little jewels for your kitchen – recipes, cooking tips, equipment and pantry items – a carefully curated personal collection of favorite recipes from my sunny California kitchen.

I had a really great time filming some cooking videos for Eat, Drink or Die, a cooking internet channel. The show is titled “What’s for Dinner Tonight?” and the take aways are short videos with great recipes you can prepare easily. Bijouxs in a Pinch

This is a just a post to let my loyal subscribers know how Bijouxs, those little jewels from the kitchen, are really a part of my everyday life.

It’s been a blustery, hot and rainy few days here, complete with electricals (lightening) pulsing energy into an otherwise calm LA environment – and creating energy surrounding Bijouxs.
