It’s hot, really hot just about everywhere, so let’s take an armchair trip to someplace cool, the forever cool Marin County, for a snack and a walk on the beach – a Perfect Pairing.
Late August always heats up in LA, so a family road trip up the coast to San Francisco was a yearly heat-escaping event. It was here we would shop for back-to-school clothes and take side trips across the bridge to dine on seafood delicacies. This fabulous property also lies across the bridge, in the storied village of Tiburon, and caught my eye when touring our international brokerage listings, a cool setting for a Perfect Pairing.
Marin County has always been an uber-cool locale – luxe coastal life surrounds a beautiful, green interior rural setting. From high atop a hill sits this new smart home in protected Paradise Cove, with a clear view on a clear day across San Francisco Bay. I imagine we can sit out on the patio, or infinity pool, or take a stroll down to the long sandy beach, a perfect place to enjoy Summer Pickled Shrimp.
San Franciso always leads with some of the freshest seafood on the left coast. So picking up fresh cooked shrimp = easy. Marinate briefly with onion, lemon and spices. Then simply pack up a jar of Summer Pickled Shrimp, crackers, and fresh fruit, then head down to the beach – a Perfect Pairing.
These summer shrimp have been a mainstay recipe for years, and I can’t think of a better setting than heading down to the beach to enjoy these little jewels. Ahh, I feel cooler already just dreaming of this Perfect Pairing. Stay cool!

I love your blog and this looks delicious! But having trouble printing the recipe. 🙁
Good Morning Amy! To print the recipe -> click the link at the bottom of the post for PAIRING, this will take you to recipe post and card. Thank you and glad to hear you enjoy the blog:)
Hi Lynn,
Maybe it’s something with my browser . . . I’ve never had issues printing your cards before. I used the link, as always, but your content doesn’t show up. Thanks.
Hi again Amy:) I checked and the recipe cards print from my browser. One idea is to copy the text from the recipe card and paste in a text document – save and then print. Hope this helps! Thank you. Lynn
